Homoeopathic Medical Officer in West Bengal Homoeopathic Health Service - 193 Posts(43 Reserved for SC, 12 for ST, 14 for BC, 6 for persons with disabilities.)

Reference: Commission's Advertisement No 4(11) / 2010 for recruitment to the post of Homoeopathic Medical Officer in W. B. Homoeopathic Health Service under the Deptt. of Health & Family Welfare, West Bengal.

It is notified for information of the candidates that a Multiple Choice Objective type Preliminary Written Test comprising one paper will be held in Kolkata on the 22nd January, 2011 from 3-00 p.m. to 4-30 p.m. The question paper will contain 100 multiple choice type(objective) questions and each question will carry 2 marks. The syllabus for the said test is given below: -
Admit Cards to the eligible candidates will be sent in due course.
1. Pharmacy
2. Organon & Homoeopathic Philosophy
3. Pathology, Anatomy & Philosophy
4. Materia Medica
5. Obstetrics & Gynaecology
6. Surgery
7. Community Medicine

Experience Required:
Essential: (i) Diploma in Homoeopathy or the qualification of a recognized University or
Institute as included in the Second Schedule of the Homoeopathy Central Council Act, 1973.
(ii) Knowledge of Bengali - Spoken and Written;
Desirable : (i) Adminstrative experience. (ii) Six months experience as Medical Officer in a recognized
Homoeopathic Institution or Hospital.
Age : Not more than 40 years on 01.01.2010, relaxable by the Commission for the candidates having higher qualifications or longer experience that those prescribed.
Note : Candidate must be registered either in Part 'A' of the State Register of Homoeopathic Medical Practitioners maintained by the Council of Homoeopathic System of Medicine, West Bengal or in Part - I of the Central Register maintained by the Central Council of Homoeopathy.
