Post-Graduate Medical Entrance Test (Homoeopathy) - PGET(H) at Bakson Homoeopathic Medical College for 2011-2012

Important Dates:

Eligibility:
No candidates shall be admitted to M.D. (Hom.) course unless he possesses one of the following qualifications:
i) Bachelor of Homoeopathic Medicine and Surgery or equivalent qualification in Homoeopathy (B.H.M.S.) included in the Second Schedule of the Act, after undergoing a course of study of not less than five years and six months duration including one year compulsory internship, OR
ii) Bachelor of Homoeopathic Medicine and Surgery (Graded Degree) or equivalent qualification in Homoeopathy included in the second schedule of the Act, after undergoing a course of study of not less than two years' duration.

How to Apply:
The application complete in all respects must also be accompanied by attested copies of the under-mentioned certificates as per requirement of the
course applied:
1. High School/Higher Secondary Certificate for verification of date of birth.
2. Certificate in support of educational qualification: B.H.M.S. Degree.
3. Detailed marks certificate of qualifying examination: I, II, III & Final Professional Examination of BHMS Degree.
4. The compulsory rotating internship completion certificate.
5. Registration Certificate from Council/ Board of Homoeopathic System of Medicine.
6. Schedule Caste/Schedule Tribe/OBC Certificate/Sikh Minority, if applicable.
7. Physically Handicapped certificate, if applicable.
8. Migration Certificate (can be submitted after the admission).
9. Two photographs (Passport size).
Note : No original certificate should be attached with the application form.

Fees details:
Information Bulletin along with Application Form will be available from 25-04-2011 (Monday) onwards. These can be obtained:
From the college on all working days during normal working hours by depositing Rs. 700/- by Cash/Demand Draft.
By Post, by sending a Demand Draft of Rs. 800/- to the college.
The Application form can be downloaded from the website www.bakson.net. The downloaded forms should be accompanied by a Demand Draft of
Rs. 700/- at the time of submission.
The Demand Draft should be in favour of 'Bakson Homoeopathic Medical College', payable at New Delhi.
The application form, complete in all respects should reach on or before 16-05-2011 (Monday) at the college address.

SELECTION OF CANDIDATE
There shall be an Entrance Test for admission to the Post Graduate Degree Courses and the said test will be conducted at Bakson Homoeopathic
Medical College. Admission shall be made in order of merit, on the basis of result of the Entrance Test.
The application complete in all respects must also be accompanied by attested copies of the under-mentioned certificates as per requirement of the

DECLARATION OF RESULT OF PGET (H)
Result of eligible candidates in order of merit shall be notified on the Notice Board of the College and on the website www.bakson.net on 25.05.2011
(Wednesday).
Procedure for Submission of Application Form for Admission

RESERVATION OF SEATS
As per rules of Government of Uttar Pradesh.

General Instructions For Candidates:
1. The applicants are advised to carefully read the contents of the Information Bulletin and familiarize themselves with the relevant rules g o v e r n i n g
the admission. They should also check all the eligibility criteria. College will not be responsible if a candidate is denied admission for not fulfilling
the eligibility criteria.
2. This Bulletin contains only brief extract of the ordinances, rules and regulations of the University. The candidates should, therefore, acquaint
themselves with the relevant ordinances, rules and regulations, of the University, regarding eligibility requirements, payment of fee, attendance,
examination and other matters pertaining to their respective courses.
3. Applications found to be incomplete or not submitted on the prescribed form or those submitted after the last date shall not be entertained in any
case. No relaxation in the last date will be granted.
4. The College takes no responsibility for any delay in postal transit or non-receipt of Application Form/Interview Letter/Admit Card etc. or any other
communication related to admission.
5. No request for change in address at any stage will be entertained. In case of any change in the address for correspondence, the candidate must inform
the concerned Post Office to re-direct his/her correspondence at his/her new/changed address to avoid any delay in receiving intimation etc.
6. The changes made in admission rules and/or in the eligibility criteria by the college, from time to time, will also be applicable for the candidates
seeking admission during the academic session 2011-2012.
7. If it is discovered at any stage, that a candidate has made a false or incorrect statement or used fraudulent means for admission or does not fulfill the
eligibility requirements, he/she will not be allowed to complete admission formalities. If admission has been completed, it can be cancelled at any
stage.
8. All the candidates are required to produce their original certificates at the time of counseling for final admission.
9. In case of regular candidates, a declaration to the effect that he/she is not employed anywhere should be submitted.
10. Instruction to candidates for Entrance Test are contained in page no. 11.
11. The candidature for the PGET (H) is strictly provisional and merely the appearance at the Entrance Test will not entitle the candidates for admission,
which will be subject to the candidate's fulfilling all the requirements for admission. Those candidates who are not eligible would apply at their own
risk and would not be entitled for admission if at a later stage it is detected that they are not eligible as per rules.
12. The candidate shall fill-in the application form in his/her own handwriting as per instruction specified in the application given. Overwriting, cutting, erasing in the application forms may lead to rejection of forms and should be avoided. Any error arising on this account shall
be the responsibility of the candidates.
13. The candidate who is already pursuing any course as on 30/06/2011 will not be eligible for the admission.
14. The selected candidates will be required to undergo medical examination by a duly constituted medical board in the college.
15. It is mandatory for a candidate admitted to any course to get himself/herself registered with the Council/Board of Homoeopathic system of
Medicine.
16. The candidates should appear at the Examination Centre as allotted to them on the stipulated date and time mentioned in their admission ticket.
17. Candidates should preserve their Admit Card till the completion of admission process and produce the same during counseling and at the time of
joining the course.
18. The medium of teaching and examination for all the courses shall be English.

INSTRUCTIONS TO CANDIDATES FOR ENTRANCE EXAMINATION FOR ADMISSION TO POST GRADUATE DEGREE COURSES IN
HOMOEOPATHY SESSION - 2011-12
DATE OF ENTRANCE TEST : 22 MAY 2011 (SUNDAY)
TIME : 11.00 A.M. TO 1.00 P.M.
9.00 A.M. Reporting Time.
The candidate shall report at the Bakson Homoeopathic Medical College & Hospital, 36-B, Knowledge Park, Phase-I, Greater Noida (U.P.).
10.50 A.M. They will be given Test Booklet. They will be required to go through instructions printed on the booklet and fill in the particulars on the
test booklet in ink without breaking the seal open.
10.55 A.M. The candidates will be asked by the invigilators to break open the seal and take out the answer sheet. They will tally the serial number of
the answer sheet with that of the booklet and confirm that the two are the same. Discrepancy, if any, should be brought to the notice of the invigilator
so that the test booklet and answer sheet shall be got replaced with the new one. They will also fill the particulars on the answer sheet with the ball
pen.
11.00 A.M. Paper starts.
Note: Arrival will be permitted 15 minutes before the commencement of examination.
1.00 P.M. Paper ends.
Pens, Pencil, Eraser
Candidates must bring their own ball point pens, HB pencils and erasers for writing the particulars and marking their answers on the Answer sheet.
Eraser must be of good quality so that no mark is visible after erasing any response.
Duration The Duration shall be of two hours.

Syllabus The Entrance test shall cover all the subjects covered during BHMS Course.
It shall consist of one paper having three parts. Division of the paper shall be as follows:

Part A Pre and Para-Clinical subjects, i.e., Anatomy, Physiology including Bio-chemistry, Pathology including Microbiology, Forensic Medicine and Toxicology. It shall contain 30 multiple choice questions of one mark each.

Part B Clinical Subjects i.e. General Medicine, Obstetrics & Gynaecology, Paediatrics, Dermatology, Venereology & Leprosy, Radio-Diagnosis, Community Medicines, Orthopaedics, Eye & ENT. It shall contain 30 multiple choice questions of one mark each.

Part C Homoeopathic Materia Medica, Organon & Homoeopathic Philosophy, Repertory. It shall contain 60 multiple choice questions of
one mark each.
Thus the maximum marks for Parts A, B & C shall be
Part-A 30 marks.
Part-B 30 marks.
Part-C 60 marks.
Total 120 marks.

Result of eligible candidates in
order of merit shall be notified on the Notice Board of the College and
on the website www.bakson.net on 25.05.2011(Wednesday).
